When you don’t Know
When I don’t know
lack an answer
a plan
or a decision
I note how I go into problem-solving, I-have-to-figure-it-out parts of my thinker
When I don’t know, I’m reminded You do
And I recall the truth that not a star is missing from our vast galaxy
That it is You who paint the sky
And decorate butterfly wings
It is You who come near and say,
‘I know you feel flaily without answers
assuming you must know what to do to receive
but what if, Beloved One,
what if you slow down
listen in
look up
and breathe in My peace
for I know your plans and they are for good
even when you don’t yet know.’
